Stephanie Nodine has practiced immigration law in Charleston since graduating with honors from the Charleston School of Law in 2010. In 2013, she founded the Law Office of Stephanie Nodine, LLC in Johns Island, South Carolina. Before law school, she attended Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish and History and a concentration in Latin American studies. While in college, Stephanie studied abroad in Spain, Mexico, and Central America. During law school, Stephanie served as a Research Editor for the Charleston Law Review and spent a summer clerking for the Supreme Court of Uganda. Her travels abroad allowed Stephanie to observe firsthand some of the driving forces of immigration to the United States, and inspired her to engage her language skills and personal interests to provide quality legal services to the local immigrant community.

Stephanie serves as an alumni mentor and guest professor for the Charleston School of Law, and is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association, the Charleston County Bar Association and the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). She serves as AILA’s South Carolina liaison to U.S. Customs & Border Protection, and also serves on the Boards of the Progressive Club of Johns Island and Lighthouse Immigration Legal Services. Stephanie considers community involvement an integral part of her practice, and frequently gives bilingual talks to local community groups and professional associations regarding the state of immigration law and policy.

When she’s not working, Stephanie can be found on the softball field, spending time with her dog, or planning her next trip around the U.S. or abroad. Most recently, she had the honor of serving as an international observer in El Salvador during its 2019 presidential election. Stephanie intends to see as much of the world as possible during her life!

Stephanie is admitted to practice in South Carolina state courts (2010), the District of South Carolina (2016), the U.S. Supreme Court (2015), and before immigration courts and agencies throughout the United States. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
